The HLTA course consists of three non-consecutive days and a twilight group support session and comes at a cost of £350. A further Assessment fee of £450 is payable to Carnegie Leaders of Learning for the costs of the independent assessment on behalf of HLTA North.
The course assists the applicant in understanding the HLTA standards and the assignments that need to be completed. It assists applicants in preparing for the assessment process.
Passing the assessment after the course leads to the award of the HLTA status which is nationally recognised and enables the HLTA to apply for HLTA posts anywhere in the country.
Applicants need to have the requisite qualifications and skills set out in the information pack and to complete the application form and diagnostic tool which are downloadable from Bradford Schools Online or attached here. Details of how to apply are contained within those documents
