This course is endorsed by the Local Authority and is designed to help you fulfill the the requirements of Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework. On completion you should feel confident to fulfill your role as the Designated Safeguarding Lead Practitioner

Description

This face to face training will help you:

  • Understand the importance of keeping up-to-date with Bradford safeguarding children's board advice and guidance
  • Examine your role and responsibilities as a Designated Safeguarding Lead
  • Think about e-safety and social media in relation to safeguarding
  • Support your team to respond effectively
  • Make informed decisions about the action to take when concerned about a child in your care
  • Understand the referral process
  • Give you an overview of legislation an guidance

Booking Information

Must have previously completed training to help you identify, understand and respond to the signs of abuse and neglect.
