Maintained schools are required to have involve an Education Adviser in their Headteacher recruitment as the statutory representative of the Director of Children’s Services. However, we can also support Academies in their headteacher recruitment and all schools with their Senior Leadership recruitment as part of the packages outlined below.
Working in partnership with your nominated HR provider, we can provide educational advice and support for the recruitment to your Head Teacher / Senior Leadership vacancies. Our Educational Advisers have a wealth of experience in recruitment to senior posts and their educational input will ensure the best chance of appointing the most suitable candidate. Support will include the following aspects:
? Initial meeting to discuss timescales, organisation of the process ( including support to establish an appointments
committee of governors) and to draft paperwork (including educational input for the recruitment pack and educational specification for candidate (0.5 day support);
? Shortlisting and preparation for the assessment tasks and process to evaluate the candidates’ performance of the task; (0.5 day);
? Interview assessment day and support with final discussions re suitability of candidates (option of 1 or 2 day attendance);
? Feedback to candidates on their interview and assessment performance (0.5 day support).
